Packing Boxes
All boxed items must be packed in UNILUG storage boxes — consistent strength and sizing for safe collection, stacking, transport and storage. Purchased separately: Medium (45×40×40cm) £3.95, Large (70×45×45cm) £5.95, double-walled corrugated cardboard, delivered before collection day with no separate delivery charge. Max 25 kg per box.

The service covers up to two hours of on-site packing and up to 10 boxes, whichever limit is reached first — reaching the two-hour limit does not guarantee all 10 boxes will be packed. UNILUG boxes, storage and return delivery are charged separately. Additional time or more than 10 boxes requires a personalised quote, agreed with you before any further work continues. Advance booking required, subject to team availability.

Store a suitcase without a box. We collect, barcode, photograph and wrap it. £5.95 one-off handling + £6.95 per suitcase per month; £7.99 return delivery. Max 23 kg, lockable. Add at checkout.

PRICING FAQ

Are there any hidden fees?▼
None. The price you see is the price you pay. No admin charges, no fuel surcharges, no cancellation fees (outside 48 hours).
What does the price include?▼
Collection from your accommodation, secure CCTV-monitored storage for your chosen duration, and £110 per-box insurance — all included. Return delivery is £7.99 per box (and £7.99 per suitcase) — booked separately when you want your things back.
Can I extend my storage?▼
Yes. WhatsApp us before your storage period ends. Your original booking is not recalculated — an extension is an additional charge for the extra time only, priced per box per month on the plan you booked (1 month → £9.65, 2 → £7.25, 3 → £6.70, 4+ → £5.95) plus £6.95 per suitcase per month, with part months charged in whole weeks. Bookings made before 29 August 2026 keep the older rule they agreed to. See clause 9 for the full detail.
Do you offer student discounts?▼
Our prices are already heavily discounted from standard self-storage rates — we're built specifically for students.
What is the cancellation policy?▼
Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 48 hours before your collection slot. Within 48 hours, a £15 rescheduling fee applies.
Can I cancel my booking before my belongings are collected?▼
You may be able to cancel before collection or before storage begins, subject to the cancellation terms that applied when you booked. Please contact UNILUG as soon as possible so we can confirm whether any collection, administration, or other charges apply.
Can I get a refund if I collect my belongings before my fixed storage period ends?▼
Our discounted plans are priced for the full period you book — the longer the plan, the lower the monthly rate. Because that rate reflects a commitment to the whole term, returning your belongings early does not reduce the price, and the remaining storage charges are normally non-refundable. The standard return-delivery fee (£7.99 per box and £7.99 per suitcase) still applies. This does not affect your statutory rights, or any cancellation rights that apply before collection or before storage begins, and in exceptional circumstances we may offer a refund, credit, or other goodwill solution at our discretion.
