Do I need to pack everything into boxes?

Items stored in boxes must be in official UNILUG boxes (for protection during handling). Suitcases can be stored as-is for £5.95 each via the suitcase add-on. We can't store loose unboxed items.

How is luggage storage different from self-storage?

With Unilug, we come to you. No hauling suitcases to a storage unit, no public transport with heavy bags. We collect from your door, store securely, and deliver back. Much more practical for students without a car.

Can you store my suitcase without a box?▼

Yes — add suitcase storage at checkout for £5.95 per suitcase. We collect, barcode, photograph and wrap it. Max 23 kg, must be lockable.

What boxes do you use for luggage storage?▼

Items must be stored in official UNILUG boxes — Medium (45×40×40cm) at £3.95 or Large (70×45×45cm) at £5.95 each. Double-walled corrugated cardboard, max 25 kg per box. We deliver them to you before collection day.

How is this different from left-luggage lockers?▼

Left-luggage lockers require you to carry bags to a location and collect them yourself. With Unilug, we come to you — collect from your door, store for weeks or months, and deliver back. Much more practical for a full student move-out.

Can you collect from my halls reception?▼

Normally we collect from your room or flat — it's easier and faster. If your halls require drop-off at reception, WhatsApp us and we'll make a note for the driver.

What if I need to store bikes or large items?▼

WhatsApp us before booking for a personalised quote on large items. We handle bikes, lamps, mirrors, and more on a case-by-case basis.
